Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thanks to the support of those of you who signed this petition and phone calls and e-mails to our representatives, the language defining year-round schools as multi-track was removed from this year's budget. The good news: We'll be going back to school on July 18 as planned. The bad news: It looks like the issue may come back up in next year's Long Session of the NC General Assembly. We'll stay on top of it and alert you if we need action again. Have a great rest of the summer!
