This intersection has been a major problem for motorist for at least 20 years. Well they decided putting flashing lights would be the fix. Well in the last year there has been 12 accidents at this intersection which in the last month 3 happened which took the life of a 16 yr old passenger. With that many accidents WHY is VDOT not wanting to put a light up??? This is a heavily used intersection which leads to school and many school buses use this intersection. We need a light. How many more people have to lose their loves ones because no one is taking action of this problem. My only son is just one that has died at this intersection how many more are we going to lose before VDOT thinks it is enough.
