Important update:

Linda Fairstein has officially resigned from the Board of Trustees of Vassar College. I would like to thank everyone that has signed this petition. I have read all the comments on this petition and can resonate a lot with everyone's frustrations, especially those of Vassar alums and current students. This is not the Vassar that I know. As a first-generation, low-income student of color, I was hesitant to be the one to start this petition. However, the Vassar that I know taught me to stand up against injustice and I was emboldened by those values to do so.   

I'd like to thank alums AC Dumlao and Adam Murphy, fellow students like Jenny Luo, Eloudia Odamy, and Hannah Hildebolt, as well as members of the Vassar faculty, especially Dean Carlos Alamo, for their support and guidance.

I've also added the official letter from president Bradley to this update.
