PLEASE HELP!
Attached is a photo of a petition urging Canadian Senators to pass
Bill S-203 banning cetacean captivity in Canada. We need to gather handwritten signatures, as Senators do not accept online petitions.
Please contact us so we can e-mail you a PDF of the petition for you to print out and have your friends and family sign it. Once full, mail it to No Whales In Captivity or call for a pick up.
This is the last push before third reading of the Senate Bill occurs in
October. This is our last chance to get more Senators on board. If the
bill passes third reading, it automatically goes to Parliament for MPs to vote on it. If the bill is adopted in Parliament, it will become a
criminal offense under the Cruelty To Animals Act to keep performing
cetaceans in Canada. The ones currently surviving in Marineland and the Vancouver Aquarium will remain there, but exhibits will be phased out and no new ones will be allowed.
Please help end the cruelty and many thanks!
