BUSTED AGAIN! We are busy contacting media to alert them of the great error in the press release of the Vancouver Aquarium where it states that Qila was the first-ever beluga whale to be born in a Canadian aquarium. NOT TRUE! Qila was the second beluga baby to be born alive at the Aquarium, the first one was Tuaq, who was born on July 13th, 1977 and died in November of the same year. How convenient for the Aquarium to forget that! Add this to the many other misleading statements coming out of the Aquarium for the last 5 decades, including the self-serving claim that the 3 dolphins purchased and imported from Japan were "rescued". Yeah, right!
