April 28, 2021 is International Noise Awareness Day. I recently joined the Board of the Right To Quiet Society and we're looking for ways to promote Noise Awareness Day, and to get the City and Park Board involved. So, whatever you can do would be much appreciated. I'll post an update closer to the time. It would be wonderful to have designated "quiet zones" in our parks, not just drinking zones, starting with the Vanier Park Duck Ponds, the Old Grove at Kits Beach and the Jericho Beach Duck Pond.
