For the last 5 years Cadence has been operating successfully in it's current location. On Monday, May 16th we received a letter from the City of Vancouver to suspend our current operations due to discrepancies in zoning and usage by-laws that prevent us from continuing to operate.

After 5 years of operating successfully without any public health or safety issues, we would have hoped that the city would have granted us a reprieve or given us some time to submit appropriate documents and apply for a change of use in our current space. 

We are deeply saddened that we will be closing our doors to the 700+ people that come to our studio every week.

Our hope is that through community support and this petition, the City of Vancouver will grant us a reprieve that will allow us to stay open as we go through the motions of getting the appropriate documentation submitted and processed.
