By having a feature implemented into TF2 where players can pick up a medi gun and keep the ubercharge percentage, the competitive gamemode won't be able to hold up at all. If a medic drops, the other team's medic can use their ubercharge to gain ground, or they can just use kritzkreig to make the enemy medic drop. Then, they can pick up the dead medic's medi gun, giving him another free uber. Or kritzkreig charge. Or quick fix charge. It's an unfair, exploitative mechanic that needs either a major nerf or better yet, needs to be removed entirely. Thanks to everyone who signs this petition, let's hope Valve realizes their mistake before it's too late.
