Provide clear markings of 3rd-party DRM in the Steam store

The Issue

In light of the recent Ubisoft backdoor which secretly installs a virus allowing any website to execute arbitrary code on a user's computer, users have more of a need than ever to make educated purchasing decisions regarding which DRM restrictions they will and will not accept on their computers, particularly since Steam itself already provides strong protection of game publishers' rights.

Thus, we ask that Steam provide a filter to allow users to exclude games with 3rd party DRM from their searches and clear markings on the purchase pages of 3rd-party DRM-encumbered software sold on the steam store.

Users have a right to know what they're buying.
