The V/Line train to and from Geelong previously went through Werribee and Newport until it was changed in 2015 to accomodate the growth areas of Wydnham Vale, Tarniet and Deer Park. The track between Geelong and Werribee is still operational and able to be used by V/Line.

The Target Head Office is planning on moving to Williams Landing which is a stop on the Werribee line. As it stands Geelong residents have no way to get to Williams Landing via train without travelling past the Williams Landing station on a Melbourne train, getting off at Footscray and then catching a Werribee train back.

As for the Melbourne residents they can catch a Werribee train to Williams Landing and enjoy walking 50 metres from the station to the new head office location.

As the Melbourne residents can easily access the Williams Landing station I see no reason why the Geelong train cannot go via Werribee as it previously did and allow the Geelong residents to same easy access as Melbourne does. 

The track still works, give us a train via Werribee and Geelong V/Line.
