Our fight is not over yet, not by a long shot. Please continue to share this petition; the more people who are in our corner, the better the chances of a successful outcome will be. If you have had a personal experience with members of this organization that has made you fear for your safety, we urge you to contact the appropriate authorities - whether it be the Dean of Students' office or the Center for Leadership and Involvement, so the incident is on record. In addition, we are not protesting the group's ideology - conservative viewpoints are valid. We are petitioning the hostile and violent acts perpetuated by Y.A.F. within the last semester, including but not limited to: intentionally outing and misgendering a trans student, individually harassing and attempting to out a bisexual student, shouting down and threatening the safety of members of student government, allowing conservative media arms affiliated with their national organization to publish the private contact information of campus activists who protested their event, and harassed and violated the privacy of a student activist of color.
