Update

Thank you for all the support so far! I truly appreciate the comments that have been left and encourage people to share any/ all of their opinions on the matter on this petitions comment section and with people in your life. 

I reached out to UVSS and they informed me they are meeting with the registrar to discuss student financial concerns. They are also reaching out to other student unions to partner in lobbying the provincial government to increase funding. 

This is great news but does not mean we should slow our efforts. A petition with numerous signatures will demonstrate the scope of this issue and support other efforts being made.
