The petition to add plant-based milks to school lunches extends into Europe thanks to a petition by the popular plant-based dairy brand Oatly.

Oatly outlines urgent reasons why the Commission needs to add calcium-fortified plant-based milks as eligible products to the European school fruit, vegetables and milk scheme. If Europe is serious about offering students a healthy and sustainable diet, it should offer calcium-fortified plant-based milk drinks in the EU School Scheme.
