United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has confirmed last week that they are working on responding to Congress's letter, but they are nearly two weeks past their deadline and have not replied yet. USCIS originally denied the whole family's cases in two days --  but repeatedly insisted that they had carefully reviewed all the information before denying the cases. Now it is taking them a month to respond to Congress's questions about why they denied the case.
