Hi Everyone, Thank you for supporting Mohammed and his family by signing this petition. Mohammed and his family's humanitarian parole case is expected to reach the humanitarian parole office at USCIS in about three weeks, and the case could be decided anytime after that. Our lawyer asked us to get several thousand signatures on this petition in support of this family's case to show USCIS that people care about this family. Mohammed and his wife and children are in danger and are living in miserable conditions, so we are working hard to get their case approved without delay. Our goal is to get 5,000 signatures by September 15th. Please help us get more signatures on this petition. We have almost 750 signatures at this time. The data from Change.Org shows that 2 out of every 3 people who read the petition will sign it. So please help by 1) Personally sending this petition to at least three friends or family members who would be willing to support it and 2) Re-sharing it on your social media (if possible). Mohammed wrote this note to thank all of you for your support of him and his family, and he asked me to share it with you. "To all my American brothers and sisters who supported me from their hearts: "Thank you for signing this petition to help me and my wife and my kids in this difficult time and to try to save our lives. We really appreciate it. I like American people, and I spent many years with the US military fighting terrorists and helping the Americans in their mission to bring freedom and security to the people of Afghanistan. I worked alongside the American soldiers as their comrade and their brother, and they were kind and friendly to me. I am still proud of my job serving the American people, and I am happy that I did that. "But now I am in serious danger because of my former job and because the Taliban blames me personally for the loss and imprisonment of many of their fighters. So the Taliban will not rest until they have killed me and my family. I was in a very critical situation and I had given up hope of finding a way to save myself and my wife and my kids from the Taliban, but because of my parole case and because of your help I have hope again for my life and for my family's lives. "Thank you so much for your help and your support for me and my family. We really appreciate it. Mohammed"
