It is the intention of Jaws of Justice Radio to investigate how to achieve justice in America, this includes issues of economic injustice, political injustice and the criminal justice system. Travis Washington  would like to see legislation now that prohibits police officers from shooting unarmed citizens. If there isn’t a weapon found after someone has been shot by a police officer, then he proposes that the officer should receive a mandatory 15-year prison sentence. Additionally: Police officers found guilty of planting drugs or weapons on individuals should face a mandatory 10-year sentence.
