“You throw out this statement with no proof…” [Um. Not true.]

This comment, verbatim, was recently posted:

“you throw this statement out with no proof "Therefore, through these relationships, US cities are supplying Russia with weapons to use against Ukraine" do you have A SHRED of proof of this? I don't think we should end the sister city thing because, think if sister citys of US cities cut ties during trump era... there IS resistance! And that would of been disheartening to us if they did that. What I'm saying is; NOT EVERY RUSSIAN is on board with what their government, NOT the people, are doing. I think we need to support the moral good ppl in Russia that disagree with this invasion.”

It is important for me to address this comment, as it is not true.  The July 31, 2022, update “Wait. What? US cities are supplying Russia with weapons to use against Ukraine!?” addresses this very serious matter. The update provides a specific example outlining how this occurs. The proof is provided by citing newspapers, etc. with links to each reference.
