This is not the time to re-introduce trophy hunting to Botswana.  There is no doubt that poaching syndicates are moving into Botswana.  There is evidence of large scale poaching.

This is not the time to lift the ban on trophy hunting in this country. 

American hunters should not be lobbying the Botswana government to allow further descimation of elephant herds. 

We need to be working with the Botswana government and the people of Botswana to find a way lessen human wildlife conflict situations and assist the government with high tech anti poaching mechanisms.
