Recently there has been much debate over who should replace Jackson's face on the $20 bill.  Many suggestions have been given, like Harriet Tubman or Rosa Parks.  But I have a different figure in mind, one that's power and influence is more than enough to earn it a spot on our US currency.  The T29 Heavy Tank.  Why you may ask?  Why put an obscure piece of armor on one of the most handled bills in circulation?  Why not is what I ask.  This beast could go toe-to-toe with Tigers and Tiger IIs and come out on top.  It's 105mm T5E1 gun could make mincemeat out of any German tank it were to encounter.  It had 280mm of turret armor, a straight out middle finger to any German tank hoping to penetrate.  Unfortunately Germany was defeated before the US could release these beasts on them.  It would only make sense to pay tribute to this piece of lost history and opportunity by letting everyone see it emblazoned on our $20 bill where Andrew Jackson's face currently sits.
