PolyU was still under siege. Over 200 students were inside, and they were starving, suffering from hypothermia, suffocated by tear gas, and mistreated and threatened. When they finally managed to escape, the crowd became orderless and a stampede occurred, causing 31 casualties. The police further arrested some hundreds of protestors, inside and outside.
Now the siege is over, but the fight is not. Those arrested as a result of being at PolyU still need our help. This incident will repeat. Police brutality and impeachment of freedom will only continue. If you haven't shared this, please do so now to as many people as you can. The students need our help and our strength. If you can't come out to help the protestors and attempt to rescue them, this is the least you can do.
Thank you for signing this and showing your support, but the fight is not over. Let us rage against the dying of the light.
