The public may not know this... but the FEDS have made a sweetheart deal with the makers of the CPAP devices and doctors that forces truck drivers that snore... to submit to a sleep study to see if there are signs of sleep apnea....would you believe that 99% of the drivers that submit or lose their CDL license.... suddenly are unhealthy and have to purchase this device?! This all comes at the expense of the driver..... How would you feel if your employer did this to you.... AND ACTUALLY MADE IT MANDATORY TO USE IT OR LOSE YOUR JOB?! This is whats happening.... there are no laws on this... just a good ole govt study that said maybe drivers would benefit from better rest from a machine like this...... problem is..... local truck drivers work 12-14 hour days 5-6 days a week..... think they are getting proper rest?! Thhis is an infringement on peoples rights.... the govt is dictating that a group of people have to use CPAP machine or take their jobs away.... This is insane and needs to be stopped!!! Help us do that... this will take a great effort of MANY tens of thousands of signatures.... please help.
