The US today has the third largest population on Earth, behind only China and India.  We absolutely don't need more population.  Already our physical, social and economic resources are straining at the seams, and our immigration system is a shambles.  We need to stop all immigration, tighten real border security, and deport immigrants already here illegally.

People seeking asylum should be given a compassionate hearing and a compassionate one-way plane ticket to Argentina or Chile, which are safely far from their oppressors, dealing with a labor shortage and willing to take in new immigrants.
