Dia di Boneiru: 360+ Voices Standing Strong for Our 500-Year Living Heritage-we protect what we love

Dear supporters and generous promoters,
This weekend, the island celebrated "Dia di Boneiru" (Bonaire Day), the national holiday honoring local culture and traditions.
The official government theme for this year's celebration was "Protehando nos isla" —
Protecting our island, our nature, and our heritage.
There is no better moment to celebrate our newest campaign milestone:
Our global shield has surged to a historic high of 363 combined voices! The international petition reached 322 signatures (backed by 3 brand-new paying promoters), and our Dutch branch has climbed to 41.
For over 500 years, the free-roaming donkeys have been an inseparable icon of the landscape, the history, and the soul of Bonaire. They are a beloved symbol for international visitors and divers worldwide.
True protection means we do not eradicate them from the wild by 2030, but humanely preserve them in freedom through our science-backed Holistic Management Plan.
Our urgent call to action for Bonaire Day:
To force a political pivot ahead of the upcoming Dutch parliamentary debate on October 15, we need to supercharge the trending algorithm. If you feel so, take 30 seconds to drop a short comment below sharing exactly WHY these beautiful, historic creatures mean so much to you, and share our petition links on your social media timelines!
Help us reach our target of at least 1,000 signatures to force a political pivot!
