As we kick off our weekly update - with our international community standing strong at a fantastic 186 signatures and climbing - we have a monumental, historic breakthrough to share with you all!

This week, our campaign officially reached the absolute highest tier of global wildlife science!
I received a personal, deeply warm response from Dr. Sarah King, the Co-Chair of the global IUCN SSC Equid Specialist Group!

In her official communication, Dr. King confirmed the genetic connection of our historic donkey population and explicitly stated:

"On a personal level I always prefer humane management of animal populations. I am saddened that Bonaire is planning to eradicate free-roaming herds of Bonaire donkeys and hope that some will still remain... ."

Furthermore, she has generously promised to share our campaign link on a private level within her elite global network of equine and donkey conservation scientists!
This means the world’s top experts are quietly stepping into our camp just as the Dutch parliamentary summer recess enters its final days. We are no longer a silent minority.

The top tier of global science is backing our vision for a humane alternative:
"The Holistic Management Plan".
