Our petition respectfully asks the U.S. President, Canadian Prime Minister, Pope Leo XIV, and the EU High Commissioner —leaders with unique influence over the Cuban government— to prioritize the immediate release of all political prisoners in Cuba and use of their platforms to bring urgent international attention to their ongoing plight.

Earlier today Human Rights Watch called out the Cuban government's release of 2,010 prisoners, in which the dictatorship framed it as a “humanitarian gesture,” but has yet to free an single political prisoner during this release.
