SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED GEOMAGNETIC FIELD EXPOSURE SLOWS THE RATE OF SEED GERMINATION

***IMPORTANT: SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED GEOMAGNETIC FIELD EXPOSURE SLOWS THE RATE OF SEED GERMINATION. VERY IMPORTANT IN THE CONTEXT OF CURRENT GEOMAGNETIC FIELD WEAKENING, THE EXCURSION OF THE GEOMAGNETIC POLES, AND ANTICIPATED POLE SHIFT/REVERSAL***
Today, Ben shares a study which shows how hypomagnetism through significantly reduced magnetic field exposure "significantly delays the germination speed without altering the final germination rate...".
In the context of geomagnetic field weakening as a result of the excursion of the geomagnetic pole, which again will likely lead to a pole reversal/shift in the next couple of decades, we could experience crop issues and food shortages as a result of slower seed germination rates.
This is very significant. We should be thinking seriously about preparations for these possible outcomes:
1. Is there a way we can grow crops etc. in a controlled environment which perhaps replicates to the greatest extent possible the effects of geomagnetic field exposure on seeds?
2. Can we begin to think about what works in terms of food preservation and expand on it to the point where we are adequately prepared in case of famine or drought? A combination of these two considerations and possibilities could go a long way towards mitigating against food scarcity in the event we begin to experience these effects of geomagnetic field weakening.

Also featured is a story on the link between cyclone formation in the North Pacific, solar cycles, and the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation. The AMO has been shown to be affected by solar activity, and therefore is significant in the context of geomagnetic field weakening, etc.). This is very important to keep in mind as the planet changes as these dynamics may cause more storms in the region.
