Dear Supporters,
On June 18th the U.S. Senate passed the Accelerating Deployment of Versatile, Advanced Nuclear for Clean Energy (ADVANCE) Act, in what has been called the biggest promotion of nuclear power in fifty years.
Meanwhile, as Mark Z. Jacobson, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering & Director of the Atmosphere/Energy Program, Stanford University, tweets daily on X, #WindWaterSolar repeatedly breaks records. He clearly explains 7 reasons why nuclear power will not save us from climate change.
Repeat, nuclear power will not save us from climate change.
What does the so-called ADVANCE Act mean for those of us concerned about nuclear industry impact on food and health? It means that education is more crucial than ever. The Fukushima Fallout Awareness Network FFAN Coalition is gearing up for an important education event (TBA soon, stay tuned!)
Until then, the Coalition needs your help MORE THAN EVER to continue to spread the word. The 4th of July holiday is an excellent opportunity to sign our companion petition here. Be sure to comment on the FDA Citizen Petition linked to it as well.
The next generation of VOTERS must be educated, so follow us on social media (see below).
Thank you for your support!
