Latest Update - Feedback from Organizations

Although the water supply has now been restored - in most areas, after almost two weeks - this travesty will recur again and again, as it always does in this derelict quagmire of a "town."

The feedback I received from various organisations was as follows:

i. AfriForum: Aware of the issue in GMM (and other municipalities) and actively pursuing avenues to prevent a recurrence.

ii. COGTA: No response.

iii. OUTA: Advised me to escalate the matter to the GMM municipality - rather pointless.

iv. SAHRC: Advised me to escalate the matter to the GMM municipality - rather pointless.

v. Solidarity: No response, as yet.
