Please head on over here to share the petition to your friends and followers to help get more funding for frontline domestic violence services.

Currently, one in two women who run from domestic violence services are turned back from shelters, mostly due to the lack of spaces due to a lack of funding.

Thousands of calls to 1800 RESPECT go unanswered.

Please can you please head on over here to share the petition  for the Federal Government to immediately increase the funding to frontline domestic violence services.

They are severely underfunded, with tenuous funding, and a lot of funding is about to run out.

The Federal government has allocated $89 b for submarines, and last year spent $42 b on defense. All governments, Fed/State/Territory together spent only $4.1 b on frontline domestic violence services last year.

The biggest threat to the safety and well-being of Australian women is not a foreign country or a terrorist organization.

The biggest threat is violent Australian men.

When women seek help, it is often not there due to the lack of funding.

Please sign and share the petition to change that.

Thank you to those of you who have already signed and shared. Together we can make a difference.
