We need you to share this petition to help prevent a cut off of federal government funding for critical frontline domestic violence services.

Queensland domestic violence services warn there could be a "catastrophic" effect on survivors of abuse, with wait list times to go "through the roof", and lives potentially lost, when federal government funding runs out on June 30.

Services across Australia received a $150 million funding boost during the coronavirus pandemic to help with a surge in demand from women suffering abuse.

The money, mostly distributed by the states and territories, runs out at the end of June and the Commonwealth has so far resisted calls from the sector to renew it.
