Dear Mr, Starmer,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you on behalf of the British people and everyone mentioned in my comprehensive report, to urgently request that you submit a motion for a snap election as soon as possible.

The United Kingdom stands at a crossroads, facing a multitude of challenges that threaten the well-being and prosperity of its citizens. From rising taxes and energy costs to the strain on our healthcare system and the erosion of our cultural heritage, the time has come for decisive action. Many sectors in the UK are suffering, and the current state of our nation demands urgent and decisive action.

Our elderly population, who have contributed so much to our society, now find themselves grappling with unaffordable energy bills and inadequate support. Small business owners, the backbone of our economy, are being crushed under the weight of crippling taxes and the fallout from Brexit. Families are struggling to make ends meet, with many unable to provide their children with the opportunities they deserve.

We must also confront the harsh reality of rising crime rates and the impact of immigration policies that have left our communities feeling unsafe. Our servicemen and women, who have dedicated their lives to protecting our nation, deserve better support and recognition. The homeless, who have been left behind by a system that has failed them, need our compassion and assistance.

The statistics are alarming:

The average household energy bill in the UK has doubled in the past two years, reaching £2,500 annually, disproportionately impacting lower-income households and pushing many into fuel poverty.
The NHS is under extreme strain, with a waiting list for routine hospital treatment reaching nearly 7.7 million in July 2023, and public satisfaction with the health service at an all-time low.
Climate change is exacerbating the natural decay of cultural heritage sites in the UK, with many coastal heritage assets at risk from coastal erosion and flooding.
In the year ending June 2024, there were 38,784 detected irregular arrivals in the UK, which is 26% fewer than the previous year. Of these, 81% arrived by small boats. Between July 2024 and January 2025, there were 4,390 enforced returns of people with no legal right to remain in the UK, a 24% increase compared to the same period the previous year.
These challenges require immediate and decisive action. The British people deserve a government that can address these pressing issues and restore the greatness of our nation. A snap election would provide an opportunity for the citizens of the United Kingdom to voice their concerns and choose a leadership that can effectively tackle these challenges.

I urge you to consider the gravity of the situation and submit a motion for a snap election as soon as possible. The future of our nation depends on it.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.

Yours sincerely,

P D Waine senior. Benjamin L Waine.
