Urgent Call to Action: Deport Iranian Officials and their family members to Protect Canada
Urgent Call to Action: Deport Iranian Officials and their family members to Protect Canada
The Issue
Dear Prime Minister Trudeau,
As a Canadian citizen, I am writing to express my concern about the situation in Iran and its potential impact on our country. The revolution that occurred in Iran four decades ago was meant to bring about a better future for the people, but unfortunately, this has not been the case. Instead, Iranians have faced political repression, economic struggles, and social unrest for many years. These challenges have been exacerbated by the current political and social unrest in the country, which has led to widespread protests and a brutal crackdown by the government. This has caused even more suffering for the people of Iran. While it is important for Iranians to take responsibility for addressing the issues that have arisen from their past actions, the international community, including Canada, may provide much-appreciated support to those in Iran who are struggling. This assistance can help alleviate suffering and hardship, and promote stability and peace in the region.
I am also mindful of the potential impact of the Iranian government's presence in Canada on our country's sovereignty. The Iranian government has a history of using international bases to achieve its long-term goals, and it is possible that they may seek to use their presence in Canada to further their own interests at the expense of our country's sovereignty. Allowing individuals and their families associated with the Iranian regime to establish their lives and build a strong network in Canada could provide them with the resources and influence they need to achieve these goals, potentially undermining our national security and sovereignty.
I believe that it is in Canada's best interests to address this issue before it becomes more difficult to do so. Dealing with this issue in the future could be much more costly and disruptive than addressing it now. If we allow these individuals to become more deeply rooted in our country, it could become harder to identify and deport them, leading to potential conflict and disruption in our society.
