I hope all preparation for Friday August 26 for our peaceful walks in Cape Town and Pretoria is going well; super excited as well as grateful to have everyone on board in this important call to eradicate period poverty.
This is just a gentle reminder of the following, although not exhaustive as we trust all stakeholders involved are of well equipped knowledge on general appropriate conduct and are Law abiding citizens,

Placards:
1. No vulgarity will be permitted on the placards
2. We encourage key terminology to be used on the placards such as “Menstrual Rights”, “Menstrual Health and Rights”, “End Period Poverty”, “End period stigma”, “Human Rights” and everything along the objectives of our calls
3. You are welcome to stick [‘glue’] period products on your placards as we have seen with some of you online getting prepared for Friday
4. Draw a uterus and just be creative
Dress code:
1. Whilst we encourage everyone to come as they are our supporters are free to dress in a way that makes a statement about eradicating period poverty: dress code colors may be red or black, or red or white, or a touch of red, or black.
2. You can also come with blood stained (use red paint) pants and t-shirts
3. You are welcome to be creative
General rules and safety
1. Please no vulgarity on the day whether be it on the songs or the placards as well as behavior - the walk is to be peaceful where we all demonstrate civil conduct for change.
2. Please no pickpocketing or theft will be tolerated and no weapons or any other dangerous material - there will be heavy police presence and security.
3. Please let’s show Ubuntu and lookout for one another on this very important event for change - let’s demonstrate peace and unity in all our conduct.
