Hello everyone, now that we are only a few signatures away from a thousand people supporting this movement I thought it was an appropriate time to officially contact the District Attorney's office as well as Jefferson County Sheriff. As of about 20 minutes ago they are both officially on notice of this petition. I requested an official response publicly through the change.org platform hopefully one or both of them will have a response soon. I know that there is at least two other parties making contact with the attorney general's office so I have not reached out to them.

In the video I posted earlier I asked if anyone would be interested in recording a video of themselves stating why they are signing. If you'd like to submit a 30 second video please send it or a link to it via Google Drive to this email

It's important that we keep sharing this even if it feels redundant if you can go on to multiple platforms each day and repost the link and greatly helps people that may have missed it or people that are seeing how much support it's getting that may change their mind and sign. Hopefully we can get some resolution soon!
