We are waiting for a response from MCLM

We did not receive a response from MCLM re the handover of the petition. We escalated it to the MEC and formally filed the petition with the Gauteng Provincial Government Petitions authority. The MEC gave instructions to GPG officials to engage with MCLM, but no feedback as yet. I also went to the Mayors office to book an appointment with him. I will follow up today.
