"I am enquiring about animals in your care, who were recently seized from 'Haywill Animal Rescue' in Glossop and Broadbottom, Derbyshire. The seizure followed a guilty verdict and banning order against one of the trustees in Manchester on 28/03/24. The case is currently pending appeal.   

The animals are: Horses, Ponies, Pigs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Rats and Chickens.   

I am very concerned about these innocent animals and what will happen to them.  Please can I ask for some compassion regarding their immediate future.  I know that sanctuary space had been organised for the three pigs through 'Pigs In The Woods', a registered and established sanctuary, who had already taken custody of all three, prior to the verdict. The pigs were due to be transported at the end of last week (w/c 01/04/24)

I understand there are homes also available for the other animals in established and well run sanctuaries.   

Please do not euthanise any of these poor animals.
