In celebration of East Ren's Facebook team possibly sending this petition and a video from last night through to the roads department, I've attached a response that came through via Kristen Oswald MP from East Renfrewshire regarding my first petition on this problem.

Whereas I think what people do in the water is their own right, the parking problem that occurs is irresponsible. The council did not address the parking issue which was the only issue to be addressed in this matter.

However, relying on a development plan that could take years to relief a reoccurring immediate problem is ridiculous. After talking to a few of the swimmers, most of them attend reservoirs out of the way to avoid other swimmers. So, a water park is hardly going to solve the issue, is it? Perhaps they should take the time to talk to these 'wild swimmers' about their intentions in the reservoirs.
