REDROW IGNORE APPEALS FROM RESIDENTS 

Redrow Homes are ignoring pleas from the local MP, Councilors and Residents to change the planned layout.

They intend to divert the traffic through the new housing development with HGV’s and through traffic past only 2 meters of houses with children and people with disabilities.

To make this possible they intend to install double yellow lines in front of the houses they have just finished both sides of the road which means people can't even have food delivered.

Some of the people involved are retired and vulnerable some people are on mobility scooters which this plan will cut off access to those people. 

Redrow have been approached by local residents and the Town Council have requested to them not to do this as it is unnecessary because the existing road that is now staying open is wider and has no residencies directly onto the road, Ermine Street. 

Redrow are saying that they are just doing and following the planning condition, but, Highways and Council have said that all they need to do is put forward a minor altered layout which would leave the Ermine Street Road as the priority Road and not allow traffic to pass through the estate unless delivering to the estate.

The residents know if Redrow do not act now, this road will become a death trap!
