Hello everyone,

  I know the recent weather and unexpected power outages in our area have slowed the momentum of this petition. With that in mind, I want to highlight the upcoming Board of Education meeting on March 17 at 12:30 PM. I strongly encourage anyone who is able to attend to do so and help support our efforts.
If you haven’t already, please consider sending an email to the Board of Education requesting that they reconsider this calendar decision. Every message helps reinforce the community’s concerns. Emails can be sent to boardmembers@worcesterk12.org.
I am still working on arranging an interview with a reporter; however, the weather appears to have delayed that effort as well. If you have any additional suggestions or ideas, feel free to email me at kmurphy0001@gmail.com.

Board of Education Meeting March 17th from 10:30 am-3 pm. Open session is at 12:30 PM

The Worcester County Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting in the Sara D. Thompson Board Meeting Room at the Worcester County Board of Education Central Office located at 6270 Worcester Highway, Newark, MD.

The Worcester County Board of Education will convene at 10:30 a.m. to immediately consider voting to convene in closed session under General Provisions Art. § 3-305(b) of the Annotated Code of Maryland. The Board will reconvene in open session at 12:30 p.m.
