119 Signatures strong! KEEP SHARING!!! This petition is for natives and non-natives, Wabanaki's and tribal members encouraged to sign. This petition is to alert the Wabanaki political leadership, that we are looking to them to make a public stand against the genocide unfolding before our eyes in Palestine.

We need to hold tribal leaders accountable for their groveling to the settler state and inaction on asserting our sovereignty by continuing to ask the state and settlers to respect tribal sovereignty. Tribal leadership needs to take a no-nonsense approach to the settler state's persistent and systemic theft of Wabanaki's land, water and rights. No more asking. This petition is one way, we can realign and redirect our focus as Wabanaki people, to violently reject the settler colonial government that threatens to destroy indigenous people everywhere. Tribal leadership need to listen to the calls from tribal citizens. Fortunately for us, tribal leadership is hyper focused on their image and how they come across to the non-native community, which is why we need the help of settlers to call them to action.

"Free Palestine" is a call to action. "Every Child Matters" is a call to action.

 These two statements unite indigenous people across the globe. To say one, is to say the other. What is happening right now in Gaza, happened to children indigenous to turtle island for generations. Genocide swept through these lands claiming unimaginable numbers of children. Human beings. The effects of this genocide are felt today and will be for generations. That is what the children and people of Palestine are enduring at historic levels right now. The images of torn, blackened and bloodied children and babies will haunt me for the rest of my life.

Currently we are watching the same program of "manifest destiny" replaying in Palestine. Only this time, social media is allowing us to witness the genocide of Palestine, happening in real time right on our screens. We cannot look away. We must listen to the dying breaths of Palestinians begging us to bear witness and not look away from the terror. We have a responsibility as indigenous people to hear the call to action by indigenous people EVERYWHERE. Tribe's across the world are standing up to the genocide in Palestine, we need to join them. 

Saying "Free Palestine" is the last thing the settler state wants to hear. Saying "Free Palestine" is in direct conflict with what the settler state wants. Saying "Free Palestine" draws a line in the sand. To the state, saying "Free Palestine" is violence. It is a threat to the current and future planned operation of the settler state. Saying "Free Palestine" would make it clear, once and for all, what the true intentions of the Wabanaki are, to be sovereign. Saying "Free Palestine" is tribal Sovereignty. This is a critical time to declare which side of history we will be on.
