Thank you for urging the University of Cambridge to reinstate a plant-based menu at the Whale Cafe.

With your support, we have successfully lobbied senior leadership and secured a small win: as a direct result of our campaign, the uni will now review its sustainable food policy for the first time in 7 years!

This is a big opportunity but it’s not nearly enough.

After a summer of wildfires and record temperatures, we can’t keep delaying the transition to a plant-based food system. Campaigners in Cambridge have big plans to get the University to follow its own research and transition to 100% plant-based catering.

Here’s how you can help:

2. If you’re a Cambridge alumnus / alumna, email plantbased@cambridgesu.co.uk to join the PBCam Alumni Network and discuss how you could support efforts on the ground in your college or department.
