Just wanted to give those of you who signed our petition an update: Trinidad Harbor has a new manager. The old manager who enabled harassment of us and others is gone. The gentleman who has been harassing us and trying to clip us with his truck for the last several years has had his guns confiscated and a restraining order keeping him from returning to the harbor, filed by Trinidad Rancheria is in process. I can’t tell you how much weight this lifts off my shoulders. Thank you to those who supported our effort. And thank you to Trinidad Rancheria for resolving the problems that have persisted in the harbor for several years. I am really excited for this change now that I don’t have to worry about me or my staff or guests getting murdered by that clown.

Tuesday was Mr. Grumpy Pants’s final act, driving by yelling profanities at me and a six year old and his parents after trying to run over an older lady walking to the restaurant across the parking lot. He won’t be back.

These changes alone address most of the issues that initiated our petition for a loading zone in Trinidad harbor.  A loading zone is still needed, but we are going to go ahead and call this a (mostly) victory for now.
