Hello Everyone,

As I’ve said before — there will be more protests until the DFI extends free travel for disabled people. And I meant it.

I have now organised another protest at Writer’s Square, Belfast, on Saturday 8th November 2025 at 12pm (for one hour). This has been fully approved by the Parades Commission and the PSNI, so I would be grateful for everyone’s support and attendance.

More protests will follow. This is our message to the DFI: we will no longer accept the half fare SmartPass and we will not be compromising for it. It is long overdue that the scheme is extended to provide free travel for disabled people. We’ve been left with the raw end of the deal for too long, and it’s time for change.
