Thank you so much for signing this campaign which is very close to my heart. I know this is not an issue that is only relevant to me with 28.3% of secondary school children currently classed as persistently absent. 

The key findings in this report really do show how our children are feeling about school which for most is their primary occupation. We know that occupation is a determinant of health. In groups with family and friends, SEND and non-SEND, locally and nationally. We really have to shine a light on this situation where parents are being unjustly treated and children are being broken and damaged by a system that shows little compassion toward their struggles with an environment they have not chosen and have no control over.
