Howdy! Thank you so much to everyone that has shared and signed our petition thus far. It truly means the world to the HEAT period project team and all the other orgs that have joined this effort (Rosies, FRUGAL, MOVE)!!! Please keep sharing this petition with other Aggies as the summer and fall semesters roll around, we need all the support we can get.

I wanted to update you on our project and the future of this petition:

We are working on initiating conversations with university administration and any other faculty/staff that are interested in supporting this project! During the summer we plan on having meetings with athletics department staff, the president’s office, and health related departments to learn how to better serve the student body, share our findings across departments, and encourage their support in these efforts. We are also in the process of finding a way to fund this project for the long run and the personnel required to refill the dispensers in a timely manner. This project is something that will take time to implement on-campus and we appreciate your support and patience as we continue to work on it. We are really passionate about this, and will continue to fight for menstrual equity at TAMU. This petition showcases the widespread support this effort has, so keep sharing! The fight is only just beginning, but we are confident that we can continue to make a positive change on campus.

We are planning on tabling at open houses and sporting events in the fall, so feel free to drop in and say hi if you see us out there! We are also looking to expand our project team!
