So Square Enix isn't porting Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince to XBox Series X. However, after looking at the lineup of Role Playing Games coming out for XBox I figure who needs Square Enix anyway. Many independent developers and First Party Microsoft studios seem to be doing it better anyway. So if Square Enix wants the train to leave without them, it's perfectly fine. We have plenty of other games to play on XBox. I feel this is a victory because we got more than we bargained for. For every one game we don't get, we get 5 new first party unique RPGs. 

This is a lesson learned. Sometimes you don't get what you seek out but you get something even better.
