The continued dissemination of negativity and misinformation by Huda Kattan is alarming. She spreads fake news, actively promotes boycotting all brands supporting Israel, propagates anti American Government videos and more.

Huda Kattan, born on October 2, 1983, in the United States, rose to the public eye through the beauty industry. She does not possess a high level education focused on the Middle East or the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Her expertise lies within the realm of beauty rather than in-depth knowledge of geopolitical matters in the Middle East. Yet she posts opinions spreading terms like: Israel is genocidal state, an oppressor, zionism is racism, Israel is an apartheid state, Israel are Nazis, and more among her followers, spreading ignorance and creating division. She knows what she is doing. This is wrong. She claims she does this in the name of human rights, yet she ignores, for example, the 240 hostages and the murder of 1500 civilians on October 7th, and more.

When discussing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and current war, it's important to promote respectful dialogue and be aware of the historical and political complexities surrounding the issue. As well as acknowledge that Hamas is a terror organization. She does not. On the contrary. She spreads hatred while name calling and defaming. Her social media incites and promotes violence, spreads fake news, promotes boycotts based on national affiliations. These actions contribute to a divisive environment.

Yet, Sephora continues to feature Huda Kattan, despite being aware of her online behavior, on their shelves and on their social media. Huda Kattan’s extensive following, 60 million individuals, is probably the factor. It is evident from their actions, that Money talks for Sephora. Money trumps their mission statement.

Sephora is breaching their mission statement, to create an inclusive and empowering beauty environment equal for all, by associating with individuals like Huda Kattan and alienating us, The jewish and Israeli communities of the world.

While we, the Jewish and Israeli communities, may not always prevail in terms of sheer numbers, our victory lies in upholding strong morals and principles.

So, until Sephora removes Huda Beauty - we will ban Sephora.

If Huda Beauty does not want “our blood money”, Sephora is complicit while stocking her. Sephora won't get our money either, we will shop elsewhere.
