Would you help me get more signatures by sharing this petition with ten other people on social media? Facebook groups, SMS chats, Twitter, email and WhatsApp all work great. If more of us sign, we can’t be ignored!
Thanks again for supporting this cause.
As another way to get the point across - here is a draft letter that you can copy / edit / and use to email some management at RCR .

RE: TERRAIN PARK UPGRADES, OUTDATED POLICIES, AND THE FUTURE OF ALL GUESTS AND ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT AT RCR RESORTS:
Since 2008 the management at RCR Resorts has held true to upholding a decision to end the building of man made jumps at its resorts. ( Although not ALL resorts, as Stoneham has continued to build both jumps and halfpipe for the public, not just “private” club training). The press release made just prior to the season opening in 2008 created quite an uproar in the communities that had seen infrastructure improvements and developments put in place for a few years prior that had RCR spotlighted across the globe for the dedication to progressing parks and freestyle at its resorts.
This decision was promoted at the time to the media as an “Industry Leading Initiative for Guest Safety”, But what most saw clearly as a financial decision masked as a safety play- ( RE:Spend less / Provide less / Charge the same or More) 16 years later and not 1 other resort around the globe has followed this lead. In fact, the Olympics have added both “Big Air” and “Slopestyle” to the roster of events in Skiing and Snowboarding - ( Both of these sports require Jumping to be involved) . As the terrain park programs around the globe have evolved, so have the design and safety of these features. Look across the globe, and its hard to find a recognized brand or resort that does not provide man made jumps or halfpipes in its program, at the LEAST. To continue to “claim” that RCR was leading an industry, and at this point not reconsider as a poor decision - should be quite obvious.
What IS Obvious, with a quick google search is that RCR has continued to Increase prices, and reduce offerings to all of its clients. The fact that a family pass for 4 resorts in the RCR group cost more that an “epic” pass allowing users access to more than 10 times the resorts around the globe, and with seasons lasting much longer than anything RCR provides just solidifies this. Further searching easily pulls up MANY comments regarding the lack of customer service, management disorganization, and employee dissatisfaction. This is even before speaking to people at a community level - who echo the feelings of being “taken for a ride” with ever increasing prices - and NO upgrades or program developments for kids, and future clients.
Its time that RCR steps back into the times, and out of the Regression. The fact that there was better terrain provided 20 years ago for freestyle community than there is now should be something that RCR looks at daily as a terrible management call, that has devalued the brand - NOT as something that was “Industry Leading”. ITS TIME TO DO BETTER .
I would like to voice my support of policy change, and to ask RCR to reconsider the rebuilding of a progressive terrain park program, Implement properly designed and maintained features, and allow the creation of freestyle clubs for the community at each resort.
Thank you,
