Petition updateUrge Minnesota United FC to end partnership with TargetOnly 15 signatures to go! (And our players are speaking out)

We are officially at 85 signatures! We are only 15 people away from our first major milestone of 100.

The urgency of this campaign was just confirmed by the players themselves. In an interview, Joaquín Pereyra admitted that he is afraid because of the current climate and is carrying his Green Card and passport at all times, even to the supermarket.

Think about the irony: A star player for Minnesota United is afraid to walk into a Target store because of the environment that a primary sponsor has helped create.

It has been reported that Minnesota United leadership talked with players about how to “navigate” interaction with ICE, but they are staying silent to the public and are not taking action. As the team prepares for the season, they should be focused on the field not on whether they'll be detained while buying groceries

If our own players don’t feel safe in the community, then the "Soccer for Everyone" mission is just a slogan.

You can help by:

  • Sharing this petition
  • Email the club: info@MNUFC.com
  • Mail a letter. A stack of physical letters on their desk is much harder to ignore.

Address: MNUFC Attn. Shari Ballard 4150 Olson Memorial Hwy, Suite 300, Golden Valley, MN 55422.

The more people speak out, the louder we are. Let’s hit 100!
