Liverpool Football Club have recently announced that they will be immortalizing Diogo Jota's Number 20 shirt and this shirt would be retired and hence will not be given to any other players in the future.

This was our common goal from the very beginning and now we have just achieved that. It was nothing but a combined effort from all of us to make it happen. I want to thank you all for your own contributions. We have come together as a community and made this happen. You'll Never Walk Alone, Diogo.
